This recipe comes from my former slave girl, Ramina, and is shared in loving memory of her Ingredients 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut up) 1 cup onion - chopped 1 stick of celery - chopped 1 clove of garlic - minced 2 Tbsp cooking oil 1/4 cup grapes 3 pounds of chopped/crushed tomatoes 1 tbsp of flour into 1/4 cup chicken broth Curry powder (the typical, American, yellow powder mixture) Salt Pepper Paprika Rice Directions Sauté in oil: 1 cup onion 1 stick of celery 1 clove of garlic Place in crock pot. cut chicken into bite sized pieces, toss into the crock pot...add 3 pounds of chopped/crushed tomatoes mix 1 tbsp of flour into 1/4 cup chicken broth until smooth, add to crock pot mixture add in 1/4 cup grapes, and season with curry, salt, pepper, paprika just stir it all up, and set the crock pot to cook for 5 hours on low pour a serving of the 'stew' over 1-2 cups of rice |
