This is a simple, yet delicious and elegant recipe. My mom always made it for holiday and other special meals.
Ingredients: 2 cups beef broth 2 lg onions ¼ cup butter 2 tbs flour 2 cups ½ & ½ 1 tsp salt ½ tsp Worcestershire
Directions: 1. Thinly slice onions 2. Melt butter in 3 qt saucepan 3. Add onion 4. Cover and cook gently (on med-low heat), stirring occasionally until onions are transparent & yellow (10 or so mins) 5. Stir in flour 6. Add all other ingredients & stir well 7. Heat until hot, stirring occasionally. 8. Be SURE not to let it boil or it will all separate!!
