This is a very basic introduction and overview of your condition (that of slavery).... Things you need to keep in the forefront of your mind at all times.
Hopefully, you already understand a good bit of this, but it is well to be reminded from time to time in any case.
► You are a slave. You are not free. This means that you are NOT equal in status to those who are free. You must always remember this!
► Your principle duties are to be obedient and pleasing to the free.
► The free must be deferred to, treated with utmost respect and obeyed (unless their command goes against orders you have been given by your owner/trainer.)
► Even if a free person is disrespectful, mean, dishonorable or gives you a command you cannot follow, you must STILL remember your place.
► All free persons are to be addressed as 'Master' or 'Mistress', unless they direct you to address them otherwise.
► Slaves do not command the free.. They request, beg, offer, etc. For example, if you have information to convey, you ask to speak and offer the information, if it pleases them. If you need to go and do something, you beg to be excused rather than telling them you are going to do (whatever).
► If you feel you have to apologize or beg forgiveness for something in advance, don't do it!
► If you are given an order that you are unable to follow and the person insists or is creating an unsafe situation for you, you should kneel in place, if possible, and, if not possible or safe, respectfully remove yourself from the situation until your owner, trainer or another trusted free person can deal with the situation. Note that "safe" refers to your actual life, limb, health, and well being. If you are in a virtual environment, such as a chat room, online forum, or similar, you are not in any danger. Cyber "beatings", "killings", "being fed to sleen", or whatever will not harm you. If you are genuinely being put under too much emotional or mental strain, that is understandable, however, you'd better make damn sure it's not just thin skin.
► Think well before you speak or act. If there is a more polite, diplomatic, pleasant or respectful way to do or say it, do so.
► Silence is a virtue. When in doubt, do not speak unless spoken to without requesting permission.
► While studying your lessons well and absorbing your training is vital, quick obedience and a desire to be pleasing is far more important than knowing it all!
There are many more finer points of service, but these tips are enough to help you quite a bit in the beginning, and as a refresher throughout your slavery.
